LVX Spirits was born in Geneva in 2019. At the time, Quentin Verne – a young financier with a passion for spirits – made the bold decision to leave the world of stocks and bonds to pursue distillation full-time.

The story began a few years earlier, during his studies in England, where Quentin caught the gin bug and became fascinated by the spirit’s potential. Back in Geneva, he spent countless nights experimenting in makeshift labs, refining recipes through trial and error. Driven to take things further, he enrolled at the Changins School of Viticulture and Oenology, and went on to train under renowned distillers René Vanner and Alex Paccot. Their mentorship helped shape his approach and led to the creation of what would become LVX Geneva Dry Gin.

With our flagship gin gaining recognition and the team growing, we launched LVX Cold Distilled Vodka and LVX White Label Distiller’s Cut in 2021—followed by a range of liqueurs and ready-to-drink cocktails. Our approach blends traditional know-how with modern techniques, always guided by curiosity, experimentation, and respect for the craft. That spirit of innovation continues to define who we are.

Since 2024, all LVX products have been made at Alter., our modern distillery in the Charmilles neighborhood of Geneva. It’s here that we imagine, test, and create each spirit – pushing boundaries while staying true to our roots.
